The Roof of Stone Houses

Ping Tan Island is the largest island in Fujian province, China. The uniqueness of the island is the stone houses. Granite buildings were built to prevent the destruction of typhoon and wind erosion. Stone house tile roof, become the unique feature of the Ping Tan houses. It is interesting to note that B & B are also available in this sea coast region of the island. This is another itinerary organised by the China Overseas Chinese Photo Society in conjunction with the 3rd Overseas Chinese Photo Exhibition in Fuzhou, China.
