Rapids Of Falls Of Dochart
As mentioned in my previous posting of “Leading Path”, this is my new inspiration of “Falls Of Dochart, Killin”. I am quite like the little flowers at the lower left corner of the image. The touch of yellow aptly enhanced the image with much greater visual impact.
I am back in UK again after my last visit in August. Hope to capture the colour of the falls for my present visit.
This photo is different from many other shots of waterfall. Here I visualise the water don’t fall straight down, it ‘dance’ down.
Hi! Terry,
Many thanks for your comment.
I was using slow shutter speed with my camera hand held.
I have just revisited this location again last month.
I was quite fascinated with the flow of rapids during my 3rd visit.
Will post the new image when I get home later.
Best regards,
This picture’s composition really brings out the flow of the rapids. 🙂 For rapids and flowing water in general, do we usually use slow shutter speed, or it depends on the photographer’s preferences? 🙂
Hi! MIn,
I prefer using slower shuttle speed to show the flow. I think is more effective.
Best regards,
