Perching On The Tip Of A Dried Branch
My perception of capturing an image of a dragonfly is mainly on the lighting of the subject. The perching position of the nature subject is also an important element of the image. Last but not least, selecting a suitable background is equally essential for the visual impact of the image. Ensuring the subject critically in focus in order to have a sharp final image is the upmost requirement. Orienting all these elements and capture the image from a vantage angle is the end result of freezing the moment permanently. This is an image that I captured at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 12 June 2021 with Leica Vario-Elmar-R 80-200 mm lens + Leica Apo-Extender-R 2X on SonyA7RIII body (manual focusing).
