Terrace Field of Belimbing
A typical scene of a terrace rice field captured in Bali while the farmers were busy at work. The main important elements of the image are the composition, colour, curves and lines. The early morning lighting added the sparkle to the shot. This image was awarded Honourable Mention of the PSA International Salon held in Atlanta, 1993.
Wood Chopping
I captured this picture of a tribe worker at work during my visit to Chiangmai, Thailand in 1978. The added light Cyan colour derivation with diazochrome film helped to tone down the glare of the misty backdrop and created a bias relief effect. This was a winning slide (Agfa Bronze Award) of the 1982 Adelaide International Salon in Australia.
