Maple On Thin Ice

I was attracted by the beauty of the thin ice with a maple leaf just dropped on top of the surface. In contrast with the leaves that trapped underneath the ice formed an unusual pattern and colour. This happened during my first visit to the Central Park, New York, USA in January 2016. I think to come across and capture such an ordinary subject is the prerequisite of skills in photography.
