Magnifient View From Penanjakan

This is taken from Penanjakan, one of the high vantage points overlooking Mount Bromo and Mount Sumeru in East Java. Tourists have to set off from their hotel early at around 4:00am in order to catch a glimpse of the magnificent volcanoes at dawn. It is not surprising to see hundreds of tourists gathered at this lookout before sunrise.
