Garbage Collected

This year’s World Environment Day falls on June 5, 2008. This is an image that I captured during my visit to Salford Quays last July. I was surprised to come across the amount of garbage gathered here. Obviously, majority of people are not aware that to dump refuse into the water area would cause such of a serious environmental problem.
As seen in the picture, the Football Club United of Manchester is just within a stone’s throw of this location.
