The pure white of snow is always pleasing to admire. I think after the nasty blizzard 2016 in east coast, USA, the beauty is unexpected. I came across this setting just outside the house of my host. I love the touch of colour dried maple leaf broke the monotonous of the pleasing lines and shapes of the snow. The rest for me is to achieve a good composition. Simplicity is still my key word of capturing this image.
Nature photography always post a challenge to me especially when a decisive moment arises. The prerequisite is to be alert all the time. Bison moving together across the field, is a natural scene not to be missed when you visit the Yellowstone National Park, USA. To observe the behaviour of the wide life and capture an image is always a goal for nature photographer. As seen here, an outstanding image is only captured when an unusual decisive moment happened. I am fortunate to have captured one of them.
I didn’t expect to wake up at 3:52 am to enjoy the serenity of full moon night after the nasty blizzard in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. The lovely blue sky,the long shadow on the snow ground attracted me to shoot the image through my window from my host home. Most importantly, the warm glow from the lamp added a good colour to the whole image. Such a scene is too good to be missed even I have to sacrifice my sleep during the cold winter night.
