Almost reaching the top of the world was my feeling when I landed here. This is the highest location (14115 ft in elevation) that one could reach when travel on the “The Train Of Pikes Peak”. By this time, I was also experienced a very mild mountain sickness. Fortunately, I was able to recover after a couple of minutes. I love the lighting condition that created the contrast between the snow scene and the snow mountains in the backdrop.
Garden Of Gods, Colorado Springs,USA, was another outing of the 2011 PSA Convention. We arrived there before sunrise in order to capture the first light of the day. The redness of the geological formations was the effect of the morning sun. The red glow appeared stronger when was against the backdrop of Pikes Peak.
When the water is calm, the reflections in the water with cloud formation is always picturesque. As seen here, I captured this image almost at the same time when I have taken my previous posting. I have included the plant on the left side as indication of autumn. I have also used a PL filter for this shot.
