My perception of capturing this image is more on the pattern and colour of the reflection of the waves. Including the pattern of railing reflection in black enhanced the interest of the image to a certain extent. Capturing such image in a split of second depends very much on the vantage angle at the right place at the right time. An image that I captured on 23 June 2021 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir.
I have been to Lower Seletar Reservoir frequently in the past two years, this was the first time I encountered someone enjoying coffee at the edge of the reservoir. It was a fine day on 02 02 2022, may be was a special day to celebrate at this pleasing environment. At a open environment filled with fresh air early in the morning, definitely was a safer location without the risk of Covid-19 infection.
Once again, I viewed in awe of the amazing sunrise at the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 28 O1 2022. The sunrise in that morning was really perfect for an image with strong visual impact. My expectation of the exact position of sunrise was just right with the nice framing of the silhouette of the landscape. The dry tree which was taller than other plants enhanced the image further.
