A Patch Of Light

On 14 04 2022, at the Upper Peirce Reservoir, my perception for this image was on the patch of lighted water on the surface of water. The eye-catching environment attracted me to capture an image with good visual impact. The perfect combination of light and shade is sufficiently striking for me to capture another good image. Appreciation the effect of light and shade is the prerequisite factor required before you could capture the image.

Another Spectacular Sunrise

Sunrise for photography is a very common subject. But I still remember the comment made by a British residence in UK when she wondered what was the purpose of us visiting the location. When we told her we were expecting to capture an image of sunset, her comment was “we have it every day”. Similarly, sunrise is common but we don’t have a spectacular one ever day. I was fortunate once more I captured this image that I love at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 28 02 2022.

Selfie At Lower Peirce

I encountered a lady taking a selfie image at the Lower Peirce Reservoir on 05 04 2022. Mobile phone is commonly used in taking selfie. Photographically, I was attracted by the colourful attire of the lady sitting among the subdued rocky area. The deciding moment of her session is important for me to capturing a story telling image. Most importantly, the beautiful environment of our reservoir contributed to the visual impact of the image.
