Bird in action is always a favourite subject in nature photography.
For photographer, when an action is capture perfectly is a satisfaction beyond the description of words. The posture of the bird in flight from the vantage angle is definitely achieved the visual impact for the image (Bishan Park, 31 03 2023).
The rhythm of the ripples was my initially perception for the image that I captured at Bishan Park on 30 03 2023. Most importantly, capturing the right moment within the split of a second achieved the greater visual impact for the image.
The behaviour of waterhen is interesting to me after capturing a series of images. I like this one mainly due to action at the decisive moment. My perception was on the water environment. Anticipating the waterhen to move into the right location of the frame, was the composition that in my mind. I could have toned down the bright stick reflection in the water to achieve a stronger impact (Bishan Park, 06 04 2023).
