Misty Lower Seletar Reservoir

I like the reflection of the Lower Seletar Reservoir icon that I captured on 30 03 2021 early morning. The misty morning gave me a very pleasing mood. Most importantly, the warmth colour touch on front part of the water gave a very vivant colour for the whole image. I am fortunate to have the boats in orderly manner to fill up the foreground of my image with good contrast. The bird in flight though small in size just added another interesting element for the image. I just simply love the mood and depth of the image as a whole.

Hidden Yellow Billed Oxpecker

To be honest, I didn’t spot the yellow bill oxpecker when I pressed my shutter. Not until I process the image, it is interesting to find there is one hidden there.
I can sure that you would pick it up too when you are viewing the image. This is a good example of capturing an expected result when the image is captured. This is another interesting image from my safari trip to Tanzania, Africa in December 2019.

Perching On A Dried Plant

I think the out of focus lighting spots enhanced the image to this nature study. It has given a pleasing soft touch of the entire image. If you think that green foliage is a distraction, I could easily remove it. To me, it is just part of the composition. Luckily, the colourful dragonfly is a much stronger attraction. I captured this image at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 10 12 2020.
