Ripples in the water strike me to capture another interesting image at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 29 04 2021 morning. Such a scene is always changing fast and have to react almost immediately to turn the happening into an everlasting image. I just love to have this strong impressionist image with the touch of vibrant colours.
The foggy morning after the rain in the previous night provided me an opportunity of capturing a landscape image with a pleasing mood. Riding a bicycle to the Lower Seletar Reservoir to enjoy a fishing session is always a relaxing moment for the angler. I think not many people are aware that if you find a tag on the fish you are advise to put back into the water without removing them. The fishes are important for the controlling the algae in the water. But for otters, seafood in the water are their favourite meals. Lesser fishes in the water resulted the algae over grown. No wonder the workers have to clear the algae regularly.(25 04 2021)
I always enjoy the serenity mood of an early dawn. The lines and pattern of the Heritage Bridge, Lower Seletar Reservoir are just another strong attraction for me to capture an image with good visual impact. A serious photographer at work added the human interest to complete the storey content of my image. Obviously, adding a gradient filter to achieve the optimum result is the choice of this professional. (27 04 2021)
