When The Train Meets Each Other

You may comment that I am a faithful admirer of the striking reflection in the water. On 13 May 2021, I was impressed with the amazing reflection of cloud in the water at Lower Seletar Reservoir. To boost up the interest and the visual impact of the image further, I waited for the two trains to meet up on the track. The idea in my mind was to capture an outstanding landscape image from a different perspective.

A Strong Combination Of Basic

Initially, the red and yellow warm colour side by side with the blue, and green cool colour were very eye catching to me. The strong form and pattern of the two boats even caught my eye further. I captured this interesting combination while I was at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 06 May 2021. Actually I have developed to observe the details of the scene after years of practice in photography. My orientation follows almost immediately before I proceed to capture the image. This process of observation and orientation lead to the capturing of the final image.

Stretching All The Way

Tighter restrictions to curb spike in Covid-19 case were introduced on May 16. It is quite obvious that people exercise in the public park also reduced in number. On May 26 morning, I witnessed lesser people exercised at the Lower Seletar Reservoir. But I was attracted by a lady having her morning session. Viewing from my vantage low angle, I utilized the curve edge of a pool of water to compose the image. Clicking the shutter only when the right moment of the reflection came into my view point. To me, such a perspective is my approach to capture an image with greater visual impact.
