When The Light is Still On

On the 21 April 2021 morning, I was fascinated by the lighting condition of the landscape at the Lower Seletar Reservoir. The warm touch of skylight in the water in contrast with artificial light of the environment created an unusual sight of colour. The difference in colour temperature of the lighting presented a condition of white balance difficult to control in photography. Technically, I set auto for the white balance on the camera and captured this landscape image with a different approach.

A Free Flow Art Of Ink

The silhouette of the trees reflection in the water against a lighter area impressed me with a creative idea of having an illusion image. I oriented my personal observation and capturing the movement of the reflections. To me, the end result of the monochromatic image thus captured is similar to the art of ink in Chinese painting . I think if you are an impressionist most probably you enjoying seeing this image. I captured this image at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 08 June 2021.

Awesome Sunrise

I witnessed another awesome sunrise on 08 June 2021 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir. I remember almost two months ago I saw a similar beautiful sunrise. I think the prerequisite of having such a soft gorgeous sunrise is a cloudy weather. The condition of cloud in the sky is just have to be sufficient thin for the sun to shine through when rising. In anticipating of such a moment may happen, my gears were all set to capture this beautiful scene in that morning.
