The golden colour of the water reflection attracted me to capture this image. Utilising the silhouette of the boat as the subject is my concept of obtaining the maximum visual impact for the image. The ripples further enhanced the quality of the image.
The different hight of the trees in silhouette formed a pleasing composition for our skyline. The colourful reflected light in the sky from the rising sun added the tremendous visual impact for the landscape. I just simply like the combination of these features as a perfect frame of my image. This is an image that I captured at the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 28 09 2021.
My fascinations of watching ripples always ended up with images that I like. On 28 09 2021 at the Upper Peirce Reservoir, I had another opportunity of capturing an image with greater visual impact. I particularly like the touch of warm colour on the ripples against the dried tree in the form of silhouette. Once again, to be at the right place on time is essential in capturing such an image.
