My concept of the strong light and shadow pattern ended in capturing another image with a strong touch of pictorial quality. Waiting for the shadow of the person to come into the frame further enhanced the impact of the image. My perception of the simplicity in colour and composition obviously played an important part in capturing the image. I just love the image that I captured at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 11 Oct 2021.
My perception of the silhouette is the initial concept of capturing the image. The touch of golden lighting on the water added the vibrant colour for the image. The appearance of the photographer and the bird in flight together achieved a very strong visual impact. I was fortunate to have all these elements happened in a split of a second. A lovely image that I captured on 26 Aug 2021 at the Upper Peirce Reservoir.
To freeze the decisive moment is a challenge in capturing an image. I think I had fulfilled the requirement for this image. The lines and texture of the water is an interesting feature to be included. Most importantly, the vibrant colours and the brilliant morning lighting was my initial perception for the image.
