An over grown tree at Shipaotai Park, Shantou, China, attracted me in capturing this image. I simply like the texture and composition from my vantage angle. To a layman, it is just an image of overgrown tree. For me, it is interesting to note the wonder of nature in our human environment. Perception for the detail in the environment from my viewpoint is one of the capability that I have developed in practising photography as my passion.
My perception of this colourful image was on the position of the colourful koi. I just like the “S” formation created by the fishes. Besides that the smaller yellow ones enhanced the pattern further.
I was searching for an unusual perspective to capture this heritage site of mining landscape in Cornwall, UK.
Finally I decided to have a strong contrast of lighting and shapes of the structures from my vantage angle.
Such an approach and treatment of the subject created a greater visual impact for the image.
