Eng Loy and I went back to Esplanade waterfront again this morning (2nd trip within two days). In spite of the uncertain weather, we were quite please with the gorgeous sky as a backdrop of the Merlion. Normally, we consider the cranes in the skyline as a distraction. But in this case, I think that signifies our Integrated Resort at Marina Bay is already in full force. Is a matter of time, our skyline will look different again.

Due to the heavy development of the Integrated Resort, it is not possible to have another comparing image from the same location now. I will post my “Good Morning Singapore 2008” on this site later. This image is one of my four contributions to the “Singapore Today” Postage Stamp issue in celebrating of The 2008 National Day.
This image was taken at one of our catchments area, the lower Seletar reservoir. The serene mood of the early morning is my main perception of the image. The environment is a perfect setting for fishing. What a nice start for a day especially during the weekends!
