One of my favorite photographic locations for Singapore is Esplanade Bridge. You may have seen “Cruising Across” posted on this site earlier. For this image, I have tried the S2 with a portrait format for a different perspective.
The world’s first double helix curved pedestrian bridge, connecting Marina Centre to the Bayfront, was opened to the public on April 24 from 9.30pm.
By June, the double helix bridge will also lead to the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort when phase 2 of the IR is completed. As a Singaporean, you would realize that our skyline is changing rapidly. As a result, the changes provide photographer another opportunity for their new creations. A morning outing to Merlion Park is always refreshing to me. The recent one, I was given an opportunity to use the Leica S2. The occasion was an outing after the session of “An Evening with the RPS President and Distinctions”. The participant had a hand on session with the S2 (courtesy of Schmidt Marketing) on the next morning. Share with you one of the images that I captured at the outing.
