I captured this image during one of my visits to KK Market. From a vantage point, I fully utilized the light and shadow of strong lines and pattern created by the morning light. Simplicity in composition undoubtedly is also a key factor to achieve the visual impact of this image. The rider timely came into the picture added life and interest to the whole picture.
When I caught this image, it was hardly 7:30 am near the Straits of Johor, facing Johor Bahru. The exact location of this place is actually just next to the wetland of Kranji Reservoir. The family evidently had an early morning catch.
For myself, I was also an early bird managed to catch a worm on a Sunday morning. The monochromatic base with colourful figures gave the image a booster.
To me, it is always rewarding to have an early photographic outing on a very fine day.

Though selling pocket tissue may not have regarded as begging, I think is another way of getting paid with one’s mercy. I was surprised to heard over the radio that a monthly income of a beggar is as much as ten thousands dollars MYR in Malaysia. after deducting the fee that paid to the syndicates. I am astonishing to know that they are foreigners residing in the country. So think twice before you part your dollars and cents out of goodwill.
