Old Man of Storr, Wider View
If you like my previous posting, I think you would like this view as well.

Finally, I came home after seven days of stay in Indonesia. I will post some of my new images at random. In the mean time, I hope you will continue to enjoy viewing my UK collections.
During our three days two nights stay at Isle of Skye, we did get some sunshine.
After a day of terrible wet weather, I was fortunate to have a brighter moment.
I decided to go to the “Old Man of Storr”. From a vantage point, I could make full use of lines and shapes of this scenic spot. Good contrast of light and shadow created by the afternoon sun is definitely essential to this image.
As I mentioned in my previous posting of “Castle Stalker”, it was rather unusual for having a wet weather for the summer time in UK late.
I was fortunate to have the sunlight penetrated through the clouds when we reached this scenic location.
Actually at that moment, we were still on our way to Isle of Skye. We just could not resist to stop for a while to capture this fast disappearing scene.
From tomorrow, I will be away in Jakarta to conduct a session on landscape photography for fellow photographers over there. The next new image posting on this site will only available on the 9th Aug. 2007.
