Six months has just gone by since I posted my last image of scenic attraction from UK.
This image of Loch Lomond was taken at the end of day in June last year. The soft touch of low light gave me another opportunity of capturing an image with strong mood.
If you drive further south form Broadford, you will arrive at Armadale. This is the place where you could use the ferry to go to Mailaig, back to the mainland of Scotland. Before we arrive Armadale, I captured this image along the coast line facing the Sound of Sleat. The reflection of the cloud formation was rather dramatic. I decided to aim my camera angle lower in order to have a stronger visual impact.
We were trying hard to get a bed and breakfast for a night at Portree. But we were surprise to know that most of the B&B at Portree was fully booked for that night. The tourist information centre offered us another B&B in Broadford instead. To my surprise, this was one of the cosy places that I had ever stayed. At 4:30 am, I was greeted by the landscape of the Inner Sound from the window of my bedroom in the upstairs. The serenity mood of dawn obviously attracted me to capture this image during the summer time season.
