The old and new patches of the cement on the wall created very interesting texture and pattern for this image that I captured in George Town, Penang, Malaysia in October 2016. In addition, the colourful new door gave a very strong visual impact for the whole image. Perhaps this is a street scene that is only visible in an old town. For one moment, I thought this is another art creation of the famous art street of the George Town.
I captured this image during my visit to Penang, Malaysia in October, 2016. I was attracted by the colourful reflection from the windscreen’s display along the road side. I don’t know whether the windscreens are for sale? The reflections to me is an indication of the busy night life was just began.
The day of old building may be already numbered. In the mean time, make full use of the old house for a modern art display is a brilliant idea. Most importantly, the display gave me an impression of the people of this old town is very artistic. I love the contrast of the display against the old building. Street Art is an attraction not to be missed in George Town, Penang, Malaysia.
