A colourful image that I captured during my first visit to Chongqing, last November. The child obviously attracted by the balloons. Children as subject of candid photography is always one my favorite choice. To capture the spontaneous moment is always the challenge of photographers.
After a hard day work of “World Photographers Focusing On Beijing” (a project for China’s 2008 Olympic application) shooting, on the way for my dinner, I captured this image at the modern shopping centre of Huang FuQing, Beijing. This image was one of my six images published in “Beijing In Focus”.

When I came across this image during my last visit at Million Sunflower Garden in Guangzhou, reminded me of my dad had many pigeonholes for pigeon at home.
The pigeonhole and pigeon were no way to be photogenic. Imagine those days, I was surrounded by hundreds of pigeons daily. I could have died of bird flu because of my environment. Instead, I had enjoyed many herbal soup brewed with pigeons during those days.
