I captured this image of koi during my visit to Baomo Garden, Panyu, Guangzhou one week ago. My second visit to this lovely garden after a lapse of three years proven to be worthwhile for photography. I expect to see thousand of koi waited to be fed. Apparently, this is an image that required perfect timing.
As a member of pioneer generation, I was granted free entry to the garden. Actually, most of the attractions in China waived entry fee for PG group. That is what we are lacking in Singapore!

The Rapids Of Tiger Leaping Gorge

The Rapids Of Tiger Leaping Gorge
Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Gorge), Yunan, China, which is one of the deepest gorges in the world. The gorge is about 100 kilometers (62 miles) northwest of Lijiang Old Town lying between Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong Xueshan) and Haba Snow Mountain (Haba Xueshan). Looking down from the top of the gorge, the steeply angled (70-90 degrees) mountain sides to the rushing Golden Sands (Jingsha) River with its 18 frothing rapids more than 200 meters (about 700 feet) below.Though is not a gorgeous sight, yet is another awesome view that is worth visiting.

The Magnificent View of Jinshajiang River

The Magnificent View of Jinshajiang River
The Three Parallel Rivers of Yunnan Protected Areas (Chinese: 云南三江并流) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Yunnan province, China. A view from the lookout of this amazing site is an attraction not to be missed. In fact, this image was captured on our way down to Lijiang from the Meili Snow Mountain. The weather gave an ambient condition for my image during our brief stop. I think without the floating cloud, the image will not be so picturesque as it is.
