Impact Of Vibrant Colours

On 13 Oct 2016, I was searching a scenic location known as “Xi Tang” in Shantou, China. When I arrived at the location, I realized that the location was deserted sometimes ago. Instead, I came across a small lotus pond. I was attracted by a green lotus leaf floating among the shadow reflection of other leaves. The reflection of the blue sky further drew my attention. My individual perception of shapes and colours orientated me to capture this final image.

Almost Arrived

Light and shadow was my title of solo exhibition in 2009. One thing for sure, this is one of my principles of capturing an image with greater visual impact. Light and shadow is utmost important in achieving the aesthetic value of an image. For his image that I captured in Shantou, China on 14 Oct 2016, I fully utilised the effect of such lighting condition. I was fortunate to be on time to observe the superb lighting condition. Most importantly, the story content of students going to school in this modern city is an interesting subject.

No Room For Growing

I found this location at Shipaotai Park, Shantou, China, on 15 Oct 2016.
I was fascinated to note the tree has grown through the damaged window of the building.
To me, this is a wonder of nature. But what puzzled me was the other window added a new metal grill. Photographically, from my vantage angle, is an interesting composition I would to capture the image. The touch of green has also added pleasing colour with a good framing. The peruse of such scene lead to my orientation of capturing this image without any other doubt.
