Good Morning Paris

My family was having a short break in Paris in July 2004. The free-and-easy trip of ours allowed us to explore Paris at our own pace. I was greeted with beautiful sunlight the first thing in the morning. I captured this image of a gentleman at the corner of a street near the hotel that we were staying at. He seems to be engrossed with the latest news in the morning paper. I love the colourful subject that has blended well with the monochromatic setting of the environment.

Japanese Drum

Japanese drum was one of the items that was performed at the 1999 Xujiahui Cultural Festival in Shanghai. I was fortunate to be there to participate in the 1999 “Shanghai in the Eyes of World’s Top Photographers” event. I would like to share with you with this decisive-moment image that I captured. This picture is one of two acceptances from Singapore (the other acceptance was from my son, Eng Loy, ARPS) for the 2005 Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain Members’ Exhibition.
