I captured an image of a worker on another boat on the way to Cai Rang floating market, South Vietnam.
The late afternoon sun brightened up the colour and texture of the boat. As such, the blue sky was so saturated even without being polarized.
While I was cycling through a village in South Vietnam, I stopped by a riverside to capture this image of mother and child sitting on a boat. I like the expression and the body language of the people. I think these are the important elements for a good portrait study. Soft lighting here is aptly light up the subject.
Actually, we were supposed to experience a farm stay. But a squadron of mosquitoes continue to attack us. In the end, we had to abandon the farm stay and gone back to the city instead.
I have been to St Ann’s Square, Manchester many times. Every trip I made previously was always crowded with people. My recent visit was different. The place appeared to be deserted. To capture such an image, I think you have to be there early before the tourist coming. But I was much attracted by the quality of light. It is so nice for me to paint another image with light.
