Strolling around Dajinzhong Reservoir, Guangzhou, China, I was attracted by the simple setting of the plants by the side of the reservoir. To me, is a pleasing sight to capture another aesthetic image that I like. Only a few branches still sustained the blossom of flowers. The touch of colour is all I need to add a visual colour impact to this simple monochromatic image. This is an image that I captured during my stay in Oriental Resort, Guangzhou, China, in January 2019.
Initially, my attention was attracted by the texture of rocks. Closer examination, I found the green young plant growing in between the rocks. The contrast of both items is very strong in colour, texture and size. Another common subject that could be overlook in our daily life. I love such an environment of nature. An image that I capture along the coast area during my recent visit to Lei Yue Mun, Hong Kong.
Different visitor has various purpose of visiting Yellowstone National Park, USA. For photographer, the rapid changing scenery of the park at different time of the day is very challenging in capturing a good landscape image. When the sun is low, the golden touch of the light added more colour to this spectacular scene. To me, such a landscape is a study of lines, colour and mood of the amazing nature.
