Brewing Thunder Storm Over The Reservoir

I captured another spectacular landscape image at the Lower Seletar Reservoir this morning. This time is the amazing sky before the heavy downpour over our reservoir. Finally the thunder storm happened at 7:00am as predicted by the weather forecast. As I ever mentioned, never put away your camera even the weather is bad. You would never expect what nature will paint for you. Though only a few images were captured this morning, it is one of my satisfy morning sessions at our reservoir.

Amazing World Of Nature

Slightly more than a week, I have captured more than fifty images of dragonfly that I like at the Lower Seletar Reservoir. This image shown here is one of the images that I like best from my collections. The brilliant lighting in the morning (7:13am) just aptly lit the colourful objects. With a camera setting of f18, 1/250 sec zoom in 746mm on 100mm-400mm +2x converter lens, at ISO1000 on the SonyA7RIII,I was able to handheld my camera to capture this sharp image. I think it is the best satisfaction for me in this particular morning session.

Birds Of A Feather Flock Together

Another image of heron captured at the Lower Seletar Reservoir during my recent visit. Not long ago, I captured “Perching Heron” in the same park. I was amazed to witness this large flock of heron perfectly lit by the brilliant of the morning sun. The reflection in the water further enhanced the image with much greater visual impact. I think it is one of very rare opportunity to capture this nature image at our local water.
