From my vantage angle, the carnivorous plants look so colourful. I think that is the attraction to insects or arthropods in the nature world. The plants depends all these nutrients from trapping and consuming protozoans. From the photographic view point, I like the pattern and colour of plant. The close up study was captured at the Cloud Forest, Gardens by the bay on 29 01 2023.
On 05 01 2023 on my way to the Upper Peirce Reservoir after my morning walk, I spotted the pattern of leaves by the roadside. Without further hesitation, I decided to capture the pleasing image of nature. Further post process using the software, increased the contrast and saturation of the image. To me, this technique is an advantage of digital photography.
On 11 Jan 2023, I found the dried mushrooms on the roadside while I was on my way to the Upper Peirce Reservoir. The richness of colour and pattern of nature setting is picturesque.
Furthermore, the good contrast in size of the two mushrooms was just perfect for the composition of the image. The enhancement of brightness by applying the post-process soft ware boosted the visual impact of the image further.
