Male Mallard is a very colourful duck that I love to photograph. The clear water of Windermere at Ambleside under the brilliant morning lighting further enhanced this colourful image with a greater visual impact.

A Brilliant Morning
No.9 Dock, in Salford,Greater Manchester, UK, was once the busiest and larger dock in this area.
Nowadays, the land surrounding is a modern residential and business center including The Lowry and Media City UK. I was fortunate to have a brilliant morning that the calm water highly reflected the buildings of this area. It is also interesting to note that the barrier of the garbage in the water has become a resting place for the water birds.
Heron In The Park

I spotted the long-legged freshwater bird in the park on a lovely morning of the season of autumn. I noted only a couple of Heron lingering around the water area of the park. Nevertheless, I like this heron that is brilliantly lit under the spell of the morning sun.
