Significant presence of golden apple snail scattered on the water of Lower Seletar Reservoir on 18 Nov 2024 after the downpour previous day. The eggs they laid potentially being toxic to humans and animals. Nevertheless, the pattern they formed with the algae are quite pleasing for image.
Lighting and simplicity besides good composition are the basic principles of capturing an eye-catching image in macrophotography. To capture the decisive moment is always a requirement needed to have a remarkable image. Searching the nature subject such as dragonfly at the Upper Peirce Reservoir is one my purpose of visiting the Reservoir.
Though this image was captured at the Jurong Bird Park in 14 07 2022, the most important factor was to capture the decisive moment at a split of a second. It was at the bird show. Anticipation of a right moment was equally essential when watching the show.
