This is one of the slides that I took during my visit to Victoria, Australia in 1990. I love the mood and colours of the image. The difference between the light and shade has created a strong sense of depth for the whole image.

A Terrace Field
I captured this image of a terrace field during my visit to Bali in 1985. I was fortunate to get a vantage point with an unobstructed high angle by the roadside. Illustrating the beauty of the lines and shapes of a typical Bali terrace rice field is essential to the composition of this image. The touch of colour added by the human figure in the field enhanced the visual impact further.
Mount Tai at Dawn
One of the must-dos at Mount Tai in China is to watch the spectacular sunrise there. Unfortunately, I did not get the chance to do so during my visit in 1983 because of poor weather conditions. Instead, I managed to capture this magnificent landscape from a higher altitude. I think that it is a photographic challenge to capture the different layers of the image with good exposure accuracy.
