This is one of my favourite images of Windermere. If you love Tranquility Of Lakeside, you may like the mood of this image as well.

The Lake District is the biggest of England’s National Parks. Its 2,292 square kilometres are internationally known and loved for their dramatic contrasts. The Lake District has 16 lakes and numerous tarns.
My latest visit to the area in October 2006 presented me with yet another good opportunity to capture the beauty of some of these lakes. Windermere, England’s longest stretch of inland water plays host to sailors and canoeists. I love the tranquil morning mood of Lakeside, the southern end of Windermere.
The touch of lighting added sparkle to the scene and created good contrast within the foggy yet peaceful environment. This image marks the beginning of a series of posts on landscapes that I captured during my recent stay in UK. Watch out for the upcoming posts!
This is another image that I captured duirng my visit to the site of Mount Merapi disaster. Don’t you think nature is the best art creator in this world? Though the site looked well arrangement for an artistis image, it is rather sad to be at the scene.
