We were trying hard to get a bed and breakfast for a night at Portree. But we were surprise to know that most of the B&B at Portree was fully booked for that night. The tourist information centre offered us another B&B in Broadford instead. To my surprise, this was one of the cosy places that I had ever stayed. At 4:30 am, I was greeted by the landscape of the Inner Sound from the window of my bedroom in the upstairs. The serenity mood of dawn obviously attracted me to capture this image during the summer time season.

At Portree, there is a view that worth capturing an image. I would like to share with you this image that I managed to capture during my brief stop. I like the well-balanced composition and also the soft touch of the evening light.

From Portree to Museum of Island Life, Isle of Skye, we stopped over at a scenic look out. Overlooking part of the Sound of Raasay from the cliff, is a vantage angle for a landscape picture. Despite of the bad weather, I was able to take a few shots with my equipment sheltered under the raincoat. Final adjustment with Adobe further improved the colour saturation and brightness of the image.
