In conjunction with the
Pameran Foto, Jakarta Photo Club, I like to share with you this image that I captured during the outing with the JPC to Pengalengan, Indonesia. Though I have not submitted this image to the Pameran Foto, actually I quite like this image mainly due to the mood and the well-balanced composition besides the touch of the colour of the dawn.
Similar to “Setting Out To Lake Batur”, I have to work with my experience when the light meter failed me. I have managed to capture this image with fairly accurate in exposure. Due to the high-density ratio, I have to use the digital blending technique in order to retain sufficient detail of the shade.
My first visit to Kintamani, Bali, was 27 years ago. Those days, we went to the Kintamani market for candid photography. Recent years, I visited Kintamani more for landscape images. I realise that the area surrounded the crater lake is very picturesque. This is one of my favourite images captured during my visit last week. One of the location for outing organised by the Nusantara Photo Club.
