A View Of Lake Tekapo

A View Of Lake Takapo

When we arrived Lake Tekapo, we were greeted by thousands of Russell Lupins created a carpet of colour waving in the breeze from the lake. Have you ever wonder the flower is an aggressive weed that can be damaging to both native flora and fauna?

This lovely and colourful sight is one of the many attractions if you visit the Fiordland during the period of September to February. I particularly like that colour of water, which blended well with the flowers.

Cloud Suspension Over Lake Pukaki 01
I am back to New Zealand after a gap of thirteen years! I spent 11 days for a fantastic outing with my family. Though the weather was rainy for the first few days, self-driven in a Full-Size, 4-5 Door, Automatic, Ford XR6 for 2400+ km, Eng Loy and I had a wonderful photographic outing at some of the scenic places in the southern island.

I didn’t manipulate the above image with Liquify Filter. But was just one of the fantastic scenes taken on our way to Mount Cook.
You will expect more to come on this site.

Note:On 16th Feb 2012, I donated the original print (36″x24″ printed on Kodak Metallic Paper, limited edition) to St Joseph’s Institution International School.
