You may think that the strong silhouette on the right side of the frame is too strong and heavy for the image. Initially, that was my impression. Considering using the block as a support of the image to balancing the equally strong interesting symbol in the sky, finally decided to compose in this way for the image captured at the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 07 12 2023. Hopefully, such a bold approach had capture a remarkable image of the Reservoir.
The breeze created a lovely pattern of ripples on the water surface of Lower Seletar Reservoir on 25 03 2024. From my vantage angle the reflection of the warmer colour of the rising sun touched on the upper end of the frame with the blur image of the trees added aesthetic appearance for the image. A study of unusual texture on the water that seldom appear only when the weather is favorable on the site.
On 31 03 2024 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir, I spotted a heron on the water area nearer to the shore. After captured several images, the heron finally took off from the water. Once again, I challenge myself the skill of capturing a decisive moment in photography.
