The warmest colour of the lighting from the rising sun apparently is a booster for the beauty of the image. From the vantage angle to compose the image is essential too for an eye-catching image.

On 16 04 2023 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir, I decided to place the angler right in the middle of the image for the composition. The approach matched well with the whole image in the composition. The gorgeous angler together with turfing further enhanced the interest of the image.
On 11 06 2023 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir, prior to sunrise, the angler was already in action. I love the phenomenon of the Reservoir at dawn. The gorgeous landscape was all set for an eye-catching image. To capture the angler in silhouette at the decisive moment was utterly important. Fortunately, the ripple also formed at the right place at the right time to further enhance the image.
