Morning Training Begins

On 16 01 2023 at Lower Seletar Reservoir, the weather condition was cloudy. Fortunately, the water of the reservoir was calm. A condition that is suitable to begin a dragon boat training session. From my vantage angle, the pattern of waves created by the boat was pleasing and attractive for an eye-catching image. The morning lighting softly touched the surface of the water and added a sparkle for the beautiful waves. An image that have to be captured at the decisive moment to achieve the maximum visual impact.

Dried Mushrooms

On 11 Jan 2023, I found the dried mushrooms on the roadside while I was on my way to the Upper Peirce Reservoir. The richness of colour and pattern of nature setting is picturesque.
Furthermore, the good contrast in size of the two mushrooms was just perfect for the composition of the image. The enhancement of brightness by applying the post-process soft ware boosted the visual impact of the image further.

New Leaves

If nature photography is your cup of tea, I think the opportunity of capturing an eye-catching image is endless. By the road side at the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 5th January 2023, I was attracted by the new leaves of a plant. The richness of green colour under the morning soft lighting is a booster for the visual impact for the image. Once again, the Impact of the image depends very much on the composition from your vantage angle.
