Tulipmania is here again. Comparing to Keokenkof, Netherland, their 800 apecies on display in the garden, the Tulipmania in our Garden By The Bay is on a smaller scale. Nevertheless, the graciousness of the Tulips on display is an annual event not to be missed. For this image, technically, I decided to use the Leica Vario-Elmar-R 1:4/80-200 mm lens with 2X converter on my Sony Camera at f22. I like the strong effect of differential focusing.
Another graceful display in the Gardens By The Bay began yesterday. This round of exhibit is the flowers from South Africa. I particularly like the national flower of South Africa “Pink King”. Until the end of October, you have more than a month to admire the beauty of flora from South Africa.
Babies of primate depend on mother’s milk to grow. My recent visit to Singapore Zoo was lucky to come across a Javan Langur breastfeeding her baby. It is interesting to know that all the adult females in a troop help to care for one another’s babies. Instinctually, breastfeeding to new born is the duty of mother in nature. No breast feeding supporting group is needed in such practice.
