A macaw hanging on a iron bar with the beak, displaying the colourful abdomen attracted me to capture this image. I have seen a number of macaws in the past but never pay attention to the colourful abdomen. Not until I was having my morning tea at the island of Rhodes, Greece, in July last year. This cat was spotted at another site earlier. As the night falls, the ranger expected the cat to return safety to this location for a night. We arrived here before the cat returned. Finally,this image was captured. I think knowing the habitats of animal is essential for wild life photography.
At a lapse of seven years. I have not been to any safari. Found this one captured in Sri Lanka safari in 2010.

The Longwood Gardens PA,USA, is also famous for their orchid in the nursery. I had an opportunity of viewing them during my visit in 2016. As a matter of facts, they have a huge collections of flowers during the various seasons of the year. Horticulture, education, arts performance are just some of many activities that available throughout the year. I love this image that shown a bundle of orchid in blossom.
