Can you manage? Certainly I can! Just came back from the successful Nusantara Photo Club Annual Meeting few days ago. One of the outing location was to a traditional market,Pasar Legi,Solo. This is another interesting place for candid photography. For a morning outing, one could capture numerous colourful images. Comparing to Pasar Gawok Solo, Pasar Legi is totally different. Each of the places has its own uniqueness.
Kite making is a colourful subject for photography. In Ubud,Bali, there are a number of kite manufacturers that you could go to. Fortunately, Balinese are friendly people and like to be photographed. Careful selection of a vantage angle is essential in capturing an image with strong visual impact.
I captured this image in a tofu factory, Solo, Central Java. The dim light condition is still ideal for me to have another image of the daily life of people. The mother bathing her children next to the barrel of beans obviously is a practice in her busy schedule of working life. I wonder is there any measurement of the hygienic condition of the environment for producing tofu in this factory.
