Bridgewater Canal Inspection
The reflection of the Packet House at Worsley, on the canal is rather attractive for me to capture this image.
The moving boat has stirred the water and formed the repetitive pattern on the water and yet enhanced the entire image.
For those of you interested in the heritage of this site, you will find the description of the Packet House is worth reading.
Mr. Tan: If you don’t mind my making too much noise, I am learning by commenting. I would crop out the red boat, the tree branch and the house on the right. What do you think?
Raymond
Dear Raymond,
Not at all! It is good to have your critics.
Initially, I thought of excluding all of them. But I would like to have better feel of the depth of the image. The triangular pattern formed by colourful boats and the little house on the upper right hand corner (three points) actually enhanced the composition further. I was fortunate to have the monochromatic interesting moving object. You may clone the branches away. I think it is not distracting at all. More over, it shows the environmental condition as well.
Best regards,
