Baliem Festival, is also an excellent event to capture close up images of the natives with strong character. Besides the facial expression, their colourful headdress and their texture of the skin, are all contributing to a good portrait study.

You have a nice picture of one the isolated tribe in Papua. In next October there are will be another isolated tribe exhibition, called ASMAT tribe festival at AGATS, the “city” of Asmat regency. Still seriously take pictures of this opportunity? 🙂 Hopefully you still have interest of those people.
