A Family Outing

One way of having an overview of the city of Whanganui, New Zealand, is to take an earthbound elevator (one of the only two in the world) to the top of the Durie Hill. The well lit concrete pedestrian tunnel leads you to the elevator which is about two hundreds meters away from the entrance. Obviously, I was attracted by the repetitive pattern of lighting condition in this tunnel. The light and shadow provides a good contrast for an interesting underground image.
