The Optimist
The beauty of taking digital photographs in the RAW format is that as technology evolves and RAW processors get more advanced, you can always go back to your original RAW file and use it like a digital negative to revisit pictures that you may not thought of processing in the past. I have using RAW since I started getting serious into digital photography, using initially CaptureONE and then moving to Lightroom. I have just upgraded to the newest version of Lightroom and decided to revisit some pictures I took during my stint in the UK. The above was taken at Weymouth just as the sun was about to set in the evening. I love the warm tones and reflections — Lightroom was able to process the picture with much less noise than what I was able to achieve in the previous version.
